I will miss them

STRIKING SIGN
So at dust, a person came to put the open house sign in front of our house without notice. I guess it's time to take some pictures, or I will not have any detail memory left in a corner of my brain. Well, this is not my first time moving. In fact, if moving to dorm counts, I think I've moved about 10 times during these past years. However, this is the first house where I live in America. Even though I don't have many exciting memories here, I won't forget about this house...

LITTLE GUARD
There is a little stone statue in front of the house. It looks like a... demon with angel wing. In fact, I have no idea who it is, but it is there since we moved in, guarding this house. So no matter who it is, I like it. I guess we will leave it where it is, sitting under the tree. I will miss it...

BLACK MAILBOX
When I was in China, I always wanted to have a mailbox like this. There is no "mailbox" like this in an apartment. Since there are too many people in China, my "house" was always a little apartment in a big and tall building. So, the mailbox that we had was like the type using at Tech's dorms. It's not hard to understand why I like this cute black mailbox. It stands there by itself, waiting for the postman, raising its little red arm if there are mails need to be sent out. I dunno what I am talking about, but I know I like it a lot, and I will miss it...

SEASONAL FLOWERS
I dunno the name of this flower, but it's definitely planted when I was at Tech. It is a new member of our front yard. I love it! It's little, lively, cute, but pretty at the same time Even though I didn't plant any of plants, I will miss them...

BELATED PICTURE
This little tree opens a type of pretty flower every spring. I wanted to take pictures both last and this year, but I was slacking off... Only petals left under the tree. I will miss the full bloom...

UNNOTICED CORNER
A place where I passed by everyday, but never paid attention to. Actually, I can hide something there, in the dark, if I am a child. but I guess I am not a child anymore, and I don't explore anymore places... I will miss the feeling of my childhood...

UNFINISHED PAITING
First of all, I am going to bring it with me, but it is painted when I was in this house. I think the feeling of this painting will change a little bit if we move to another house, that's why I include it here. It is the first and perhaps the last oil paiting by me. I painted it during the last two or three monthes of my senior year in high school. I guess I picked the wrong flower to paint. Everyone finished their painting except me... I started with streching the canvas. Every process about this painting was new to me. Maybe some people still remember that I was thinking about changing major to architecture last winter, but I changed my mind because of this paiting. My mom is right. I will stick into one thing and one thing only untill it's "perfect", but most of the time, no one will appreciate that kind of unnecessary "perfection". The most important thing is to finish it on time, and I don't think I can finish any project without spending twice or even more time than other people if I major in architecutre. Good thing to learn from this paiting... Besides, its color is not brown, but I don't like the color comes out from my camera. not the right color. Oh, and there is another half which is the reflection. I didn't finish either side, lol~ I will miss the struggle from this painting...

Sisi said...: haha~ HUG HUG* I miss you a lot too! T^T I don't think I am going to touch that painting anymore... maybe sign a signature sometime, and that's about it ._.
